A Brief Glance - Starting my Hawken Project

I'm Joshua Samulak, and this project is my 2022 Journey to find out what it really means to be an engineer.

        I will be working at Diamond Z Engineering, an engineering company that designs and manages the construction of systems that handle petroleum. They help clients with projects from storage, transport, managing leaks, to full gas stations. Their website lists a few more of the things they do: "3D renderings, permit acquisitions, project management, image conversion, inspection and compliance services, and so much more."

        Because the company is so multifaceted, I feel like it is the perfect place for me to understand how projects come together, meeting the needs of clientele, and what it means to be on a team of people designing and working towards a common goal. If I ever hope to lead a team one day, I have to first understand what it means to be part of one!
